Sign in and manage your account
The emailed code, what to do when it doesn't arrive or a meeting link won't open, and how to manage your profile, workspace and account.

Signing in with a code
Capme has no passwords. Enter your email address and press Email me a code. The email holds a six-digit code and a link, and either one signs you in. Both work for 60 minutes, and the newest email is the one to use.
If your company uses single sign-on, there is no code for your address: the page takes you to your company's sign-in instead. If it doesn't, press Continue with your company account. Single sign-on explains it for admins.
When the code doesn't arrive or doesn't work
- No emailLook in spam or your company's quarantine for mail from no-reply@mail.capme.app, then press Send a new code. If your company filters mail, ask IT to allow that sender. Invitations come from the same address.
- That code is not right or has expired.Check that you used the newest email, or press Send a new code.
- Too many attemptsCapme stops sending and checking codes for a while. The message says how long to wait.
When a meeting link won't open
A meeting opens only for the address it was shared with. If the page says This meeting is not shared with you, it shows which address you are signed in with. Open Capme, choose Sign out in your account menu, and sign in again with the address the invitation went to. Without an account menu, open the invitation link in a private window and sign in there with the invited address. Otherwise press Ask for access, and the organiser can add you.
If the link says the page isn't there, the meeting was deleted, you were removed from its workspace, or you signed in through your company's single sign-on and the meeting belongs to another company's workspace. A company sign-in only opens your own company's meetings.
If you belong to several workspaces, signing in opens the one that has verified your email's domain, otherwise the one you joined first. There is no switcher. Meetings shared with you from other workspaces still open from their links.
Changing your name or language
Open your account menu and choose Profile & settings. The language applies to the app and to Capme's emails to you. If your company signs you in through single sign-on, it may set your name for you.
You can't change the email address you sign in with. To move to a new address, write to hello@capme.app.
Leaving a workspace
On Profile & settings, Delete my account takes you out of the workspace. Your recordings stay with their meetings, and an admin can invite you back.
As the owner you can't leave this way. Hand a company workspace to an admin first, as People, roles and speakers describes. A workspace of your own is closed with your account; see below.
Deleting your account
To have your Capme account deleted for good, choose Request account deletion in your account menu. It opens the contact form with the subject filled in, and we delete the account by hand. For a workspace of your own, How long recordings are kept, and deleting them says what happens to it.
Still stuck? Write to hello@capme.app.
