Why per speaker, and not one price for the company?
Because that is where the value sits. A speaker replaces a meeting; a viewer gets the time back. Pricing speakers keeps the bill small and predictable, and the thing you want to spread, watching instead of attending, never costs more as it spreads.
What makes someone a speaker?
Recording a topic or owning one on an agenda. A viewer asks in one click; an admin grants it, or the owner raises the number of speakers first. Revoking takes effect at once; the invoice changes only when the owner lowers the count.
Do viewers need an account?
Inside a workspace they sign in with a six-digit code to their work address, so a meeting is never an open link. That costs nothing and has no cap. Unlisted links for anyone exist too, on Solo and once an admin allows them.
What happens when the 14 days are over?
The workspace stops taking new videos until a plan is picked. Without one, the videos we host go 30 days later, the workspace after 365. A company trial has unlimited speakers; a Solo trial is Solo. Neither asks for a card.
Where do the recordings live?
In the browser on Free. On Solo, Team and Business on EU servers, encoded and streamed from the EU, with the subprocessor named in the DPA. Business and Enterprise can point at their own S3 bucket instead, and then we never hold the file. The Trust Center.
What happens if we cancel?
Cancel in the billing portal. When the plan ends, the workspace locks and public links stop. For 30 days you can watch everything and ask for copies; then the videos we host go. After 365 days without a plan we delete the workspace.
How long do you keep a video?
Twelve months on Team, then it is purged. Solo and Business can shorten that window. Any recording can be marked to keep, and then it stays until someone deletes it; a deletion always wins over keep.
Can we pay by invoice?
Yes, on a yearly plan: choose "Invoice, by bank transfer" when you buy. The plan starts at once; the invoice is due in 14 days. Monthly plans use card or SEPA. Other invoicing, custom prices and over 500 speakers are agreed with us.
Can I buy Solo as a private person?
No. A paid plan needs a registered name, address and tax or registration number: in Germany USt-IdNr., Steuernummer or Handelsregister number, elsewhere in the EU a VAT ID we confirm against VIES first. Without one nothing is sold. Prices are net, VAT via Stripe Tax.
How does this compare with Loom?
