Branding your recordings
Set the background, logo and text that recordings in your workspace start with, and decide what people may change.
Updated October 6, 2026
In a company workspace, admins set this on the Branding tab. It applies to recordings made from then on. A finished video keeps the look it was recorded with.
Branding on Free and Solo
On Free, every recording carries Capme's "Recorded with Capme" mark, which can't be removed. The background and the text are your own choice. Solo has no Branding tab: you pick your background, logo and text in the recorder.
What you can set
- Your own backgroundOne image or one colour, which the recorder opens with. Once you have one, you can turn off Also offer the Capme backgrounds.
- LogoShown on recordings and at the top of your videos' public pages while Show the logo on recordings is on. Until you upload one, that is the Capme logo; turn the switch off to show none.
- Title textA short line of up to 40 characters. While people may write their own text, anyone with a name set starts with their name instead; to put your text on every recording, turn off Let people write their own text.
Images can be PNG, JPG, GIF or WebP, up to 5 MB each.
What people may change
Three switches decide whether people can replace your settings in the recorder: Let people use their own background, Let people use their own logo and Let people write their own text. Turn one off and people can only use what you set. Back to the Capme look clears your backgrounds, logo and text.
